Taratec-KDDL has two hands manufacturing factories with combined employee strength of over 300. The two facilities allow us to cater to quality requirements in different markets; it also provides us additional flexibility in production.
Our hands division uses several different processes to manufacture watch hands depending on the needs of the customer. The two principal ones are: ‘piece-by-piece’ production and ‘on-band automated’ production. Our sample and prototype development department has its own set of machines, which gives us a unique advantage in terms of short turn-around time and high quality for new products and proto types.
There are more than 15,000 in-house tools, which allow our customers to choose from a wide range of designs without investing in new tooling. Still if a new design is required, we are well equipped to serve such needs with speed too. Our rapid prototype development allows us to deliver samples in 3 weeks or, often, much faster. Regular production lead time is under 8 weeks. Customers can also select the packing method to suit their assembly process.
With a focus on innovation, our Hands factory in Bengaluru has been revamped. Upgrades made improve production capabilities while maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship.
